Overview

This nursing grand rounds series will address current issues in cardiology and patient care.


ANCC Learning Outcomes
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss the clinical criteria for prescribing medications for the management of behaviors and mood disturbances in patients with autism spectrum disorder.
  2. Differentiate pharmacologic options (e.g., antiplatelet agents, anticoagulants, beta-blockers, ACE inhibitors, statins) in clients with ACS by evaluating age-related risks and benefits.
