Our Vision
The vision of Nursing Continuing Professional Development (NCPD) at UT Tyler is to be the continuing education provider of choice for nurses in northeast Texas, offering timely and thought-provoking educational opportunities that advance the role of the professional nurse.

Our Purpose
The purpose of NCPD is to ensure that nurses stay abreast of current industry practices, enhance their professional competence, learn about new technology and treatment regimens, and update their clinical skills. Our educational activities enable nurses to function more effectively in their professional roles and to contribute to public health through the dissemination and application of current knowledge.
