Overview

Hello! Welcome to the online portion of the SIMWISE training for nursing simulation faculty. We are so excited that you have chosen to complete this training to enhance your ability to effectively educate your students using simulation. This course includes two parts: an online portion and an in-person workshop day. The online portion you are starting today contains six modules that will help you understand the simulation standards from the International Association of Clinical Simulation and Learning (INASCL). This portion will include videos and other resources to review, as well as module quizzes to complete prior to attending your in-person training. The in-person workshop day will be full of activities designed to help you through the entire simulation process from design inception to facilitation to continuous quality improvement.

Objectives

Nursing Continuing Professional Development hours will be awarded for completion of both portions of the training.

If you encounter any issues as you work your way through these self-paced modules, please reach out to either Julie George ([email protected]) or Hillary Oliver ([email protected]). We will be happy to assist and make sure you have a great and meaningful learning experience. We look forward to meeting you in person at the training day. Enjoy this course, and we'll see you soon!
